Aline Gallasch-Hall de Beuvink holds a PhD in History by the University of Évora, a Master and a Bachelor in the fields of History and Preclassic Culture and in Art History by the University of Lisbon. She was a lecturer and responsible for the Cultural activities of the Portuguese Language and Culture Department, University of Lisbon, between 1999 and 2007, as well as lecturer in the Faculty of Architecture at Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. She is the President-Founder of the Associação de Defesa do Património de Lisboa – ADPLx, an association for the defence of Lisbon heritage, and researcher at CIAUD, Faculty of Architecture, Universidade Técnica de Lisboa.She is a published author. Currently, she is awaiting publication of three books. She is a member of Sociedade de Geografia de Lisboa, founding member of Academia de Escolas de Arquitectura e Urbanismo de Língua Portuguesa (AEAULP), of Confederação Nacional das Associações de Família (CNAF), delegate of the International Institute of Business Et Social Communication (IIBSC) in Portugal and member of the Board of Directory of Scholars in European Studies, responsible for the bi-annual journal “2000: the European Journal”, in Rome. She was awarded the medal Grã-Cruz da Ordem das Bandeiras by Sociedade de Estudos de Problemas Brasileiros, of which she is also a Commander, as well as the medal “Princesa Maha Chakri”, by the Thai royal house.
