She holds a degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual do Cerá (Brazil), a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal do Ceará (Brazil), degree recognized by Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal), and she holds a PhD in Informatics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal). After completing her PhD, she entered the post-doctorate at INESC-ID (Lisbon) where she carried out research until August 2017.

She has participated in several research projects, having published several national and international articles in the area of data integration and semantic web. She is currently an assistant professor at Universidade Autonoma de Lisboa Luís de Camões (UAL) and a visiting professor at Escola Náutica Infante D. Henrique (ENIDH). She is also a researcher at the Centro de Investigação Autónoma TechLab of the Department of Science and Technology at UAL.

Areas of interest and research: Database Integration (Mediators and Data Warehouses), ETL Process, Schema Mapping and Instance Mapping, Semantic Web, Data Quality.
